We’re glad you’re here. Whether you found us through a friend, a Google search for a “chiropractor near me”, or a drive past our office, we want your first experience to feel easy and comfortable — not clinical or overwhelming.
Here’s what to expect when you visit either our Hendersonville or Portland office for the first time.
Save time at your first visit by completing your new patient paperwork online before you arrive.
When you arrive, our front desk team will greet you and have you complete a brief intake form if you haven’t already done so online. Take your time — the more we know about what’s been bothering you, the better we can help.
You’ll then meet with your doctor, who will sit down with you to discuss what brought you in, what’s hurting, and what you’d like to get back to doing. From there, you’ll receive a physical exam. If X-rays are needed, we can take them right here in the office at both locations.
Most new patients receive their first adjustment during this visit. If you’ve provided your insurance information ahead of time, our team will review your coverage with you before you leave. Please allow 30–45 minutes for your first appointment.
At your follow-up visit, your doctor will go over your exam findings and review your X-rays (if taken). They’ll walk you through what they found and explain the recommended course of care moving forward.
You’ll also receive treatment during this visit, and we may begin incorporating additional therapies if appropriate. If we weren’t able to review your insurance coverage during your first visit, our front desk team will go over it with you at this appointment (after completing any necessary pre-authorizations), along with any costs and future scheduling so everything is clear.
Plan for about 30 minutes for this appointment as well.
Every patient is different, and your doctor will recommend a plan based on what your body needs. Most patients move through three phases:

Once you’re past your initial visits, appointments are quick — typically 10 to 15 minutes from door to door. You’ll start with a few minutes of intersegmental traction, followed by your adjustment. Your doctor performs a full-spine adjustment and may also address extremities depending on your condition.
We accept most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, and Medicare.
Because coverage varies by plan, we recommend calling your location ahead of your first visit so we can verify your benefits and let you know exactly what’s covered. We also offer affordable cash rates and payment options for patients without insurance or with high deductibles.
